Nathan Toscan

Nathan Toscan has 23 years’ professional services experience, predominantly in valuation and investment banking (mergers and acquisitions) related roles. While at LEA Nathan has worked on numerous valuation assignments across a broad range of industries and prepared approximately 30 Independent Expert’s Reports. He has also advised on a number of successfully completed private company (sell side) transactions. Additionally, during his time at LEA, Nathan has acted as both an expert witness and shadow expert in the Supreme Courts of NSW, QLD and WA, the Land and Environment Court of NSW and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

Nathan joined LEA from O’Sullivan Partners (now part of Lazard), a prominent independent Australian corporate advisory firm, where he was involved in various mergers and acquisition (M&A) and capital markets mandates involving ASX listed top 100 companies.

Prior to this, Nathan worked as a consultant at a Canberra based consultancy firm providing financial evaluation, auditing and budget development services to Federal Government agencies (such as the Department of Defence and the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Prosecutions), and the Federal Department of Finance, where he worked directly with the CFO on matters including statutory financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, budgeting and strategic planning.

Nathan lectured for a number of years on the topic of M&A for the Faculty of Business and Economics at Macquarie University.
