Nathan Toscan has over a decade of professional services experience, predominately in investment banking and valuation related roles. While at LEA Nathan has worked on numerous valuation assignments across a broad range of industries and prepared over a dozen Independent Expert’s Reports. He has also advised on a number of successfully completed private company (sell side) transactions.
Nathan joined LEA from O’Sullivan Partners (now Lazard), a leading independent Australian corporate advisory firm, where he was involved in various mergers and acquisition (M&A) and capital markets mandates involving ASX listed top 100 companies.
Prior to this, Nathan worked as a consultant at a Canberra based consultancy firm providing financial evaluation, auditing and budget development services to Federal Government agencies (such as the Department of Defence and the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Prosecutions), and the Federal Department of Finance & Deregulation, where he worked directly with the CFO on matters including statutory financial reporting, management accounting, treasury, budgeting and strategic planning.
Nathan is a lecturer on the topic of M&A for the Faculty of Business and Economics at Macquarie University.
